Ferry grounding, Norway
Ferry KARLSOY ran aground shoerlt after 1100 UTC Oct 26, while en route from Vengsoy island to Belvika with 6 people on board. Ferry changed her course hard a port and ran onto southern tip of Vangsoy island, though she should keep straight course, reason yet unknown. She was refloated several hours later and reached Belvika. Later that day she sailed to Tromso, probably for inspection and repairs. On a photo by Magnus Aamo Holte an.no grounded KARSLOY.

Container ship troubled in Yangtze estuary
Container ship EASLINE SHANGHAI suffered mechanical failure and requested assistance on Oct 19 in Yangtze river estuary. MRCC Shanghai dispatched a SAR tug DONG HAI JIU 101 (IMO 9654816), which managed to take disabled vessel on tow and tow her to safety after 8-hour towage in adverse weather conditions. Understood disabled vessel was either anchored, or had to drop anchor to avoid drifting.
