JAXPORT Wins USD 46 Mn for Harbor Deepening
The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) has received additional USD 46 million in funding from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Jacksonville Harbor deep draft navigation project.

Cargo ship ran aground, breached, Ukraine
General cargo ship OREL-3 ran aground and reportedly, sustained hull breach, at around 0600 UTC Nov 22 on Dniepr River, Ukraine, shortly after leaving Zaporozhye port, and proceeding downstream. Information is rather scethy, it may be assumed, that the ship contacted some object and was breached, Master beached her on sandy river bank to avoid or to minimize water ingress.
