Sailing Family Rescued at Sea With Sick Baby
Adventurous or stupid? These adjectives and more are being used to describe the Kaufmans, a couple that embarked on a trans-Pacific sea voyage aboard a sailboat with their two very young children. On Sunday, the family was rescued by the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard and the Air National Guard after their 13-month-old daughter Lyra became ill and their boat “broke down,” The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
In a statement released by the U.S. Navy, the Kaufmans said Lyra, who reportedly suffered from a rash and an infection, is doing well now.Posted On:8-Apr-2014

Cash boost for sailors of the future
THE nation’s future seafarers have received a major boost with a £380,000 donation from Southampton-based Carnival UK, parent company of P&O Cruises and Cunard.

Successful salvage prevents coastal pollution
Keynvor MorLift Ltd (KML) has successfully completed the salvage of the cargo vessel MV Sea Breeze off the coast of Cornwall UK.
