1. Jobships.com is a virtual meeting forum for Shipping Companies, Marine Training Institutes and Seafarers.  
 
2. Jobships.com does not permit posting of any incomplete, false or inaccurate resume information or information which is not your own accurate resume.  
 
3. Jobships.com may be used only for the lawful purpose by individuals seeking employment and employers seeking employees.  
 
4. Jobships.com does not permit proxy-usage , such as posting or deleting of resume or searching for candidates or accessing Jobships.com on behalf of someone else.  
 
5. Jobships.com does not warrant or guarantee that a resume or job description shall be viewed by any specific number of users, or that it will be viewed by any specific user or within any specific time limit.  
 
6. Jobships.com does not permit posting of any non-resume information such as options or notices, commercials or otherwise.  
 
7. Jobships.com, at present, does not levy any charges from experienced seafarers either for posting resume or for scanning the site for job vacancies, however, Jobships.com reserves all rights to charge any fee for any of its services as and when it deems fit. Jobships.com charges for database maintenance and additional services from Candidates having no sailing experience in the Merchant Navy. The charges levied by Jobships.com is only for maintaining the records in database and renting the software for various services. This does not in anyway guarantee employment by any company. Jobships.com will not be liable to pay any claims in this regard. The money paid for any of the Jobships.com services is NON-REFUNDABLE.  
 
Note : All Basic services are free for Seafarers with sailing experience in the Merchant Navy. Service charges will be levied only from candidates without sailing experience in the Merchant Navy.  
 
8. Jobships.com does not permit and has not authorized any individual or firm or company or any other organization to collect any fee/charges whatsoever either for accessing Jobships.com or for posting/searching resumes or for searching for jobs.  
 
9. Jobships.com prohibits all communications from its competitors to any customers of Jobships.com for any purpose whatsoever.  
 
10. Jobships.com prohibits posting of announcements for any franchise schemes, commission schemes, membership schemes, distributorship, sales agency, liaison agency, business offers and opportunities, etc.  
 
11. User are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of Jobships.com, including and without limitation.  
 
 a) Accessing data not intended for such user or logging into a server or account which such user is not permitted to access.  
 
 b) Attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization,  
 
 c) Attempting to interfere with service to any user. host or network, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, "flooding", "mail bombing" or "crashing", or  
 
 d) Sending unsolicited e-mail, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services, or  
 
 e) For giving any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e- mail or newsgroup posting. Jobships.com shall initiate civil or criminal proceeding against such violations of system or network security.  
 
12. Jobships.com prohibits revision or deletion of any material posted by any other person or firm or company or organization. Such acts are illegal and Jobships.com and/or the concerned entity shall initiate civil and criminal legal proceedings against any person or firm or company or organization indulging in such activities.  
 
13. Unsolicited e-mail, telephone calls, mailing or other contacts to posting individuals and companies are strictly prohibited.

Users may not use Jobships.com in order to transmit, distribute, store or destroy material  
 
1.  in violation of any applicable law or regulation  
2.  in a matter that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others, or violate the privacy or publicity or other personnel rights of others, or  
3.  that is libelous, obscene, threatening, abusive or hateful. Users are hereby informed and advised that personally identifiable information posted to Jobships.com is not confidential and may be viewed by anyone with access to Jobships.com.

Jobships.com cannot lay or enforce its rules against all third party users. Therefore users of Jobships.com may get unsolicited communication from anyone for any purpose. Jobships.com users should deal with such things on their own. Jobships.com, its owners, officers and other associates are not responsible in any way for any such unsolicited communication or their consequences and also not liable to pay any compensation or damage, whatsoever.  
 
If any user wants Jobships.com to remove his/her posting, he/she should send a specific request by registered mail to Jobships.com, clearly marked "Privacy-Urgent".  
 
Jobships.com does not permit minors to access this site for any purpose, whatsoever.
