Study in Srilanka - Class 4 CoC (Engine)

BE Marine and GME (with BE Mechanical) students having sailed with TRB for more than 12 months may be eligible for giving their Class 4 CoC exams in Srilanka. |

Engine Ratings (Fitter) who do not have a STCW III/4 Watch Rating Certificate and hence not eligible for giving exams in UK may be eligible for giving Class 4 CoC exams in Srilanka. |
Indian students having a Class 4 CoC from Srilanka may come to Warsash Maritime Academy,
Southampton, UK for giving their Class II 2nd Engineer CoC exams after finishing 18 months of sea
service whilst holding a Class 4 CoC from Srilanka. They may also opt to give their Class 2 CoC in
Srilanka also if they wish to. Batches start for Class 4 CoC in Srilanka in January, April and
September every year. Total expected expenses in Srilanka is about 2 Lakhs and duration is about 4
months. Above students may also opt to do Class 4 CoC (MEC3) exams in New Zealand for which
the total expenses is about 9 Lakhs and duration is about 5 months.
