Can any one tell me about the certification process on DP vessels, and also whether seatime on DP vessels and other vessels like FPSO's and FSO's are valid for MMD examinations in india.?

| I have met half a dozen people in MMD for this information, but the answer is one, "no it is not counted", so think hundred times before leaving deep sea trade and joining offshore industry. |

 the MMd does not recognised you service on any off shore vessel if you are a 2nd mate FG they have a set of requirements that it follows and they dont bent one bit. But keep checking as it changes every day
