Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT), on Wednesday, said it has installed a technically-advanced terminal operating systems, called TOS ZODIAC, reinforcing its position as a leading port facility in the Indian subcontinent.
With the new system, MICT aims to optimise terminal operations to enhance competitive advantage and customer satisfaction, Tejas Nataraj, Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement here.
This new system will increase standards of efficiency and service for MICT's customers while boosting productivity.
ZODIAC provides an enabler platform to inbound supply chain and terminal stakeholders with real-time container information and other features such as advanced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), digital documentation, flexible reporting, smart planning components and web-enabled user interfaces.
It comes with reliable core system architecture with the capacity to add other interfaces in the future. All stakeholders receive a valid login ID and password for restricted information and secure transactions.
