Container ship disabled, waiting spare parts off Le Havre Container ship THIRA suffered engine failure early in the morning Feb 18 shortly after leaving Le Havre, France, and was brought to anchor northwest of Le Havre. As of 0500 UTC Feb 21, she s still at anchor, on Feb 20 French MRCC sent helicopter with technicians team to assess the damage and conditions of the ship. It was found out, that the is no danger to the ship or other ships and traffic around, THIRA is waiting for spare parts required for repairs. Container ship rammed into Lock s Gate, both severely damaged, Kiel Container ship AKACIA collided with gate of Holtenau Lock, Kiel, while leaving Kiel Canal, at 2350 LT Feb 19, moving at a considerable speed.
