ITF hails newly recognized human right to clean environment
THE United Nations General Assembly has recognized a new human right — the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. The landmark vote on July 28, 2022 was backed overwhelmingly by 161 countries, with no votes against and only eight abstentions.
