India: Government approves Rs 3,000 crore project for Paradip port The government on Wednesday said it has approved a Rs 3,000 crore project to turn Paradip Port into a world-class port by setting up a dock.

Port workers slam Australia"s shipping measures after new COVID case in NT A 25-year-old crew member on the Diamantina cattle export vessel, which has arrived in Darwin from Indonesia, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The man was tested onboard when the ship arrived at the East Arm wharf on Sunday night.

Shippers worry over falling standards of ports operations Importers and exporters under the aegis of Shippers Association of Lagos State have lamented the continuous falling standards of port operations in Nigeria.

The ship was adrift until morning Dec 29, when assumedly, she was taken on tow, being at that time close to northern coast of Scotland.
