Livestock carrier major fire, Spain
Fire erupted in superstructure of livestock carrier ELBEIK, anchored off Tarragona, Spain, Balearic sea, in the afternoon Aug 6. Fire reportedly, started in compartment or cabin on a deck below bridge deck, and quickly spread around. 18 crew were evacuated by Spanish SAR boat Fomalhaut.
