General cargo ship KONSTANTIN collided with anchored tanker SMERALDO at Brunsbuettel anchorage at around 0340 UTC Oct 21, shortly after leaving Brunsbuettel locks completing Kiel Canal transit, en route from Sweden to New Holland, UK, with cargo of wood.
