India: PM Modi To Inaugurate Maritime India Summit On March 2
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the "Maritime India Summit 2021" via video conference on Tuesday, the Prime Minister's Office said.

Iran: Tourism, transport ministers ink MOU to boost maritime tourism
The MOU aims at developing maritime tourism and make the best use of its potential in the southern and northern coasts of the country, according to a press release issued by the tourism ministry.

Norwegian bulk carrier Captain died and tested positive after death
Self-discharging bulk carrier TERTNES asked for medical assistance northwest of Stavanger on Feb 24 while en route from Gulen Norway to Dover UK. Helicopter transferred two medics on board of bulk carrier, to assist sick crew, Captain of the ship, but he unfortunately, died. The ship was diverted to Stavanger, arriving there on Feb 25. General cargo ship ASTOL ran aground on northeast coast of Pserimos island, Dodecanese islands, Greece, Aegean sea, early in the morning Feb 26, while en route from Iskenderun Turkey to Azov Russia. Container ship struck, sunk anchored fishing vessel, South China sea
Container ship VIETSUN CONFIDENT at around 0830 LT (UTC +7) Feb 26 struck anchored fishing vessel KH 00737 TS in waters of Binh Thuan Province, north of Vung Tau. Fishing vessel sank in a matter of minutes, but all 8 crew were rescued. Owner of container ship is to settle with KH 00737 TS owner compensation costs. RoRo Hit By Explosion Hobbles Into Dubai For Assessment
An Israeli-owned ship hit by an explosion in the Gulf of Oman strategic waterway has arrived at a port in Dubai, where is it is due to be assessed in dry dock.
