Daewoo Shipping acknowledges suing its employee for embezzlement, suspension undone
In a statement on June 15, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. (042660) said it has filed lawsuits against a former employee for malpractice and fraud, in January and in March. The employee was accused of embezzling a total of 18 billion won ($15.3 million) and is under custody, it said.
Upon receiving the reply, KRX undid its suspension of trading of DSME's stocks, KRX said in a separate statement.
