Maersk Line to Change Fuel Adjustment Surcharge ahead of 2020 Sulphur Cap World s largest container shipping company Maersk Line is planning to introduce a new fuel adjustment surcharge ahead of the 2020 sulphur cap.

Seaspan Prepays Debt for Six Boxships Hong Kong-based containership owner Seaspan Corporation said that it had prepaid two credit facilities which were secured by six of its vessels.

Adani, JNPT likely to bid for acquiring bankrupt Dighi Port Adani Ports, India s largest private sector port operator, and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) in Navi Mumbai are likely to bid for Dighi Port, which was declared bankrupt by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in April, according to two people aware of the matter.

Ferry fire, 10 dead 8 missing, Indonesia Ferry KM FUNGKA PERMATA V on Sep 14 caught fire, burned out and sank in position 02 00S 123 22E south of Banggai island, east of Central Sulawesi, Banda sea, while en route from Baubau, southeast Sulawesi, to North Maluku island. 126 people including 11 crew were rescued, at least 10 died, 8 still missing. VLCC superstructure sank off Ulsan Superstructure block of VLCC under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard in Ulsan slipped off 3680-ton barge and sank in Ulsan waters in the afternoon Sep 15.
