Ferry FANTASTIC collided with cruise ship VIKING STAR, VIDEO Ferry FANTASTIC went out of control while unmooring in Barcelona Port in the afternoon Jan 12 and drifted towards cruise terminal where cruise ship VIKING STAR was berthed alongside pier. Ferry struck cruise ship s portside by her stern, she wasn t able to prevent collision even by dropping anchor or both anchors. FANTASTIC was taken back to berth, both ships were ckecked, understood both avoided serious damages. FANTASTIC resumed her voyage at around 1730 UTC same day, bound for Genova Italy. VIKING STAR left Barcelona at around 1800 UTC Jan 12, sailing to her next port of call, Marseille. At 0330 UTC Jan 13 she was approaching Marseille. No injures reported.Posted On:13-Jan-2018
