Cable laying ship SEGERO struck barge loaded with some 4000 tons of granite, towed by Indonesia tug INDAH LAUT 2201 (IMO 8690863), east of Karimunbesar Island, Riau archipelago, Singapore Strait, at around 0330 LT (UTC +7) Jan 14. Vizag Port set to retain 3rd rank in cargo handling

USCG Suspends its Search for Crew of Abandoned Longliner
The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for the 10 crewmembers of the Taiwanese longliner Yong Yu Sing No. 18, who disappeared from their vessel at a position northeast of Midway Atoll.
