Captain of Very Large Ore Carrier lost in Indian ocean VLOC SEA FUJIYAMA lost man overboard on Jan 2 in southeast Indian ocean, while en route from Tubarao Brazil to Qingdao China. The ship turned back and searched for lost crew for some three days, but he wasn t found. The ship resumed voyage, as of Jan 15 she was sailing in Java sea. As it became known on Jan 15, lost crew was Captain of the ship:

Nord Stream 2 construction work is officially approved to continue In German waters, the Nord Stream 2 Baltic Sea gas pipeline s construction can continue after the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) gave its approval.
The previous permit allowed the work to continue starting at the end of May 2021 at the earliest. The approval had become necessary because a Swiss company withdrew its special vessels at the end of 2019 following sanctions from the USA.Posted On:16-Jan-2021

Cruise liner Marco Polo beached in Alang, India The Iconic MS MARCO POLO vessel has reached the end and completed her final journey today at the ship-breaking facility in Alang, India. We already knew she was to be scrapped but now that s become a reality after photos show her beached ready for scrapping.

Vizag Port set to retain 3rd rank in cargo handling Visakhapatnam Port appears to be all set to retain its third rank in handling cargo after Kandla and Paradip during the current financial year. Crew of cable ship at Portland in lockdown after Covid outbreak. The crew of a ship at Portland were placed in lockdown after an outbreak of coronavirus which led to two of those on board being taken to hospital.
