Two Crew Missing after Car Carrier Suffers Fire in Pacific Search efforts have continued for two missing crew members of the Panama-flagged car carrier Sincerity Ace following a significant vessel fire in the middle of the Pacific.
US Coast Guard, Navy and good Samaritans aboard merchant vessels continue the search for the crew members after the fire which occurred on New Year s Eve while the vessel was some 1,800 nautical miles northwest of Oahu, Hawaii.Posted On:2-Jan-2019

South Korea Contracts Ocean Infinity to Find Stellar Daisy South Korea has hired the seabed survey and ocean exploration company Ocean Infinity to help the government in its search for the wreckage of the ship Stellar Daisy, lost in late March 2017.

Car carrier major fire, Pacific Fire erupted on board of a car carrier SINCERITY ACE in the evening Dec 31 in the Pacific, halfway between Japan and Hawaii. Cruise ship CARNIVAL DREAM lost lifeboat while under way Cruise ship CARNIVAL DREAM lost a lifeboat which broke off davits and fell into water while the ship was under way in Gulf of Mexico on Dec 30.
