Konecranes Awarded Khalifa Port Automation Contract UAE s Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) has selected Konecranes to supply an automated stacking crane (ASC) system for the second construction phase of its container terminal in Khalifa Port.

IRISL Linked to Three Tankers at Sadra Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has placed an order for three 113,000 dwt tankers at compatriot shipbuilder Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA), Intermodal said in a shipbroking report.

As of 1400 UTC Oct 24, tanker was still aground, reportedly awaiting contracted for salvage tug or tugs left Buenos Aires. No leak was reported. Brand-new mega cruise ship fire, Netherlands Fire erupted in cabin or cabins of a brand-new mega cruise ship AIDAnova at Eemshaven, Netherlands, early in the morning Oct 24. Many fire engines were deployed, fire reportedly, was restricted to one cabin only, and extinguished. No other information available yet.
