Bloody mayhem on ferry two killed, one committed suicide, one in critical condition On Dec 19 ferry WIRA GLORY was en route from Sibolga Port, Western Sumatra, to Gunungsitoli port, Nias Island, Indian ocean. One 56-year old passenger ran amok and attacked other passengers with knife and steel bar, killing two and seriously wounding one, who s in critical condition. A security officer on board of the ferry ran to the scene and tried to calm down and disarm violent man, but to no avail, he was irresponsive. The guard fired warning shots, but the man didn t respond, so finally, guard shoot him in legs and breast. The man tried to commit suicide by cutting his throat. He was disarmed and secured by guard and other passengers, but later died from blood loss.Posted On:21-Dec-2017

Cargo ship aground, passengers evacuated, Indonesia General cargo ship ANUGERAH ABADI I ran aground on reefs west of Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia, Flores sea, in the morning Dec 20, with some 50 passengers on board.
