Singapore port must stay shipshape as year-round Arctic shortcut looms
The year-round opening of the Northern Sea Route in the Arctic is only a matter of time, and Singapore has to race to be cheaper, faster and better than it already is - to safeguard its status as a shipping hub.

Survivors, Family Members of Sunken Estonia Ferry Seek Additional Investigation
Passengers and families of victims of the ferry Estonia that sank in 1994 claiming the lives of hundreds of people are seeking an additional investigation into the causes of the tragedy.

The healthy functioning of the maritime logistics chain is at risk
Representing users of liner shipping services and service providers of the maritime logistics chain (hereafter, the associations) jointly object to the prolongation of the Consortia Block Exemption Regulation (CBER) on the grounds advanced in the Commission Staff Working Document Report from 20 November 2019 (the SWD).
