Bulk carrier damaged in collision in Gulf of Finland Two cargo ships collided in Gulf of Finland south of Porvoo, near Kalbadagrund lighthouse, at around noon local time Feb 25. According to Finnish CG report, collision occurred when both ships were in ice, one which was moving struck another one which wasn t under way or was gathering way. Both ships sustained damages, one suffering a hole in bulb nose area above waterline. Both ships were allowed to resume their voyages, both are sailing in western direction.
