Cocaine seized on container ship CAP SAN SOUNIO, probable crew complicity
Peruvian Drug Enforcement agency officers searched very large container ship CAP SAN SOUNIO in the morning Jun 29 at Callao container terminal, on arrival from Buenaventura, Colombia. They found and seized 24-kilo shipment of cocaine, hidden in a compartment under cargo deck in Row 04 Bay 64 Aft area, cocaine is believed to be destined for Europe. The place where cocaine was found implies possibility of crew complicity, it wasn t hidden, as in majority of container ships drug busts, in container. 70% of Transactions at Ports Not Compliant with Trade Rules
The Customs Area Comptroller of Tin-Can Customs Command, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Musa Baba Abdullahi, has disclosed that only 30 per cent of transactions at the ports comply with the requirements for trade.

Bow Jubail Moved to Rotterdam Yard for Repairs
The chemical tanker Bow Jubail has been moved to the yard in the Port of Rotterdam following the collision with a jetty, Odfjell said.
